Saturday was the final round to determine who will compete in Eurovision 2020. Five artists took the stage to determine who would ultimately go forth and represent Iceland in the song competition, which takes place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands this spring.

Ultimately, the competition came down to two songs: Almyrkvi by Dimma, and Think About Things by Daði Freyr. Despite technical difficulties in the duel round, the latter band came out on top with Daði’s angelic voice, the band’s perfect harmonies, their catchy disco-indie-synth-pop sound and funky dance to accompany the whole thing.

The song was written to Daði’s daughter, who is still just a baby. Bearing this in mind, the lyrics take on a very sweet meaning. While she probably thinks her dad hung the moon, we hope that the rest of the world is just as charmed as we are when it comes time for Eurovision. Check out the video below. The music starts right around the 30-second mark.
